Job Description :

Must Have Skills:
AS400 Admin and Development Skills, People Management, Retail Domain Experience
At least five (5) years of hands-on experience supporting IBM iSeries environments.
Knowledge of IBM iSeries system access and security guidelines and procedures.
Understanding of internal controls and change management processes.
Skill in solving technically challenging problems involving IBM iSeries based application and hardware issues.
Strong technical skills to maintain, enhance, and develop applications in RPGIV / ILE and CLLE
Very Strong in DB2 database knowledge
Experience with iSeries IFS, iSeries connectivity to PCs and networks
Strong with Embedded SQL in RPGLE, prototypes and procedures.

Desired Skills:
Excellent client relationship management and articulation skills

Project Details:
This project supports the AS400 systems for the retailer. The project involves application maintenance and enhancements to these systems.

Job Roles / Responsibilities:
Administrate system user access rights and participate in quarterly reviews and audits
Carrying out Development/upgrade/support tasks as assigned
Provide end-user technical support for assigned application software
Resolve application errors, data discrepancies, and queries
Maintain and support data reporting of assigned systems
Participates in the testing and implementation of new systems
Maintains work log
Maintains corporate security and confidentiality
Continually strives to provide “Value Added Customer Service”
