Job Title: Pega Developer
Location : Lynchburg, VA.
Competencies:
Enterprise Platform & Solutions : Pega
Essential Skills:
Strong knowledge of PEGA PRPC concept’s, Pega best practices, Case design and knowledge about various PEGA frameworks
Create new web services to be consumed by different application
Have sound knowledge of Agile practices i.e. Sprint activities, User story, maintaining tasks etc.
Basic knowledge of SQL and Scripting language
Basic knowledge User Interface design.
Role Description:
Gather requirements from the business users and prepare the proper problem statement document.
Understand the requirement and create DCO in PEGA platform.
Develop workflow for different modules of legacy application using PEGA platform.
Work on integrating the existing services to PEGA platform.
Support QA/UAT and Performance Tests
Optimization of code by looking into the logic and determining bottlenecks.
Working on any defects reported by testing team
Create user interface and authentication module for user access in PEGA platform.
Support / Enhancement to PEGA platform changes for various business requirements.
Design and Develop architecture to make sure it is robust with respect to scalability, portability and security.
Prepare technical design document.
Onsite - offshore communication to explain business requirements and clarify offshore queries with client.
Analyze existing application and perform impact analysis.
Documenting all UML and use cases for the business/user needs using tools like MS Office, MS Visio.
Developing High level design documents and flow charts based on Business Requirements.
Architecting the application for responsiveness
Create proof of concepts demonstrating the latest and greatest features of PEGA and how these can help improve business practices currently being used.
Preparing strategy for code development in Development, Staging and Production environment.
Package and migrate the code from Dev to other environments
