Roles & Responsibilities
Strong technical knowledge of OBIEE Architecture.
Very strong experience in developing OBIEE / Siebel Analytics Repository rpd) at three layers (Physical Layer, Business Model & Presentation Layer), Time Series Objects, Interactive Dashboards with drill-down capabilities using page and dashboard prompts, Security Setup (groups, object and data level), configured Analytics Metadata objects (Subject Area, Table, Column), Web Catalog Objects (Dashboard, Pages, Folders, Reports) and scheduling Agents.
Experience on Multi-User Development Environment (MUDE)
Expertise in creating Calculation Measures and Dimensions, using Initialization Blocks and Variables (Session and Repository), adding multiple sources, executing direct Database requests, Implementing Siebel Security Setup (groups, object and data level), LDAP, External Tables , Single sign on (SSO) etc.
Changing parameters in Presentation and BI Server configuration files based on report requirements.
Worked on Cleanup project to reduce the size of repository and catalog by deleting unused user reports for past one year
Bouncing the OBIEE Services such as Admin server, managed server and system components.
OBIEE Repository and Catalogs as well as BI Publisher reports migrations
Install, upgrade, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of OBIEE environments
Experience on upgrading from 11.1.1.6.8 to 11.1.1.6.12, 11.1.1.7.150120 and 12.2.1.0, 12.2.1.1.0
Multi-platform experience on UNIX / Linux /AIX and Windows Server family
Experience on OBIEE 12C installation and configuration
