A St. Paul, MN Client seeks a Java Developer/Programmer to provide technical support to the Java Application Development Division as well as enhance/assure future work related to system modernization efforts is seamless.
The successful Developer/Programmer will be responsible for development and related operations and production maintenance support. The successful Developer/Programmer must be able to provide diagnostic analysis of issues reported. Diagnostic analysis includes changes required due to system modifications or newly introduced code from adjoining systems such as IBM/Cúram, Connecture, and the ESOR (Enrollment System of Record), etc. We expect The successful Developer/Programmer, upon request, to analyze a reported issue, offer solutions, and to help troubleshoot as well as provide root cause analysis.
Work will be performed on-site in St. Paul, Minnesota. Candidates must complete this RESPONSE MATRIX to be considered for the role.

Experience working with health insurance systems (1 years)
Experience working on benefit enrollments (1 years)
Experience developing in Java using Spring MVC (5 years)
Desired Skills
Computer Science or Information Technology degree
Experience providing analysis and development/programming using (5 years for each):
o WebSphere application server
o JPA/Hibernate
o Maven
o XML
o JUnit
o Oracle database and writing SQL statements in Oracle
o SOAP/REST Web services
Experience with full-stack Java development (2 years)
Engagement working with state agency health care systems (2 years)
