Job Description:
Network Engineer
- Designs network infrastructures. Leads configuration, tracking and maintenance of physical and logical network components
- Performs network system capacity and resource planning, assessing network risks and contingency scenarios. Leads infrastructure security mitigation exercises and planning by working closely with InfoSec and IT Operations areas.
- Leads deployment of new infrastructure and security vendor products and services. Manages vendor relationships and service levels as appropriate. Works on projects/systems/issues of medium to high complexity.
- Partners with project teams (including the security team), ensuring that concerns are flagged and managed, and provides guidance on addressing issues.
- 10 to 15 years of industry work experience in network design and deployment with the following minimum experience credentials:
o 7+ years in advanced data network system design &
o 7+ years in network firewall/security system design and support.
Knowledge, Skills & Attributes
- Experienced with network systems design and engineering, including .
- Experienced integrating network security solutions, including firewalls, web security, proxies, microsegmentation and secure dynamic routing protocols.
- Strong project reporting & communication skills.
- Troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Experience designing and implementing centralized logging systems. Experience designing and implementing network monitoring solutions.

Education & Experience
- Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science or equivalent preferred.
- CCIE, CISSP/CISA/CISM/CRISC/SANS certifications desired, but not required.
