Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Develop ETL using mainly SSIS and MS SQL Stored Procedures to populate different layers of the data model for historical, operational, and analytic purposes.
Develop Web Services and libraries in C#/.Net
Lead and mentor other developers regarding ETL, data automation, integration solutions and other programming solutions.
Develop data models to support requirements identified by business analysts.
Develop User Interfaces in Power Pivot and Power BI and other Microsoft technologies.
Perform analyses that facilitate data integrity/data quality
Requires strong knowledge and skills for using SSIS, SSRS and other tools to manage data extracts and imports and to analyze and prepare reports to meet business objectives.
Requires proficiency in understanding the business use of data within a health care operations This position requires robust analytical and IT technical skills to identify, implement and support data exchanges from and/or sent to multiple systems and/or other vendors.
May work within an Iterative/Agile development environment as an active member of a project team with frequent interaction between project stakeholders.
Adheres to all regulatory and certification guidelines including HIPAA, state and Federal Guidelines, and others as communicated through management.
Essential Knowledge & Skills:
Expert SSIS development skills with several years (5+)’ experience building high complexity packages.
Expert level using SQL Programming; Stored Procedures, Functions and advanced SQL futures for 5+ years
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including excellent meeting facilitation skills.
Proven ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization.
Ability to collectively collaborate in a team environment.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain solid working relationships and offer strong customer service skills.
Broadened nature of interaction to consult and make sound recommendations.
Ability to prioritize work and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Establish responsible deadlines, prioritize work plans and manage time effectively.
Strong analytical ability.
Proficiency in use of standard machines and software common to most offices, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access and Personal computing skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years (preferred 10 years) with Health Insurance data
ETL Developer/Architect: 5 years
BI Application Development: 5 years
Data Warehousing: 5 years
Web Services: 1 year
SSIS: 5 years
