Web sys admin skilled on LAMPstack platform (Linux, Apache Tomcat, MySQL
AWS experience required
previous eCommerce or retail experience is highly preferred
Must be able to work independently as needed - previous experience as a team lead is ideal.
These responsibilities, projects and systems are currently managed by an offshore team. Customer is seeking to take over management direct in NYC HQ via onsite contractors.
My immediate need is database and system administration, definitely including security, for our order management system environment. This environment is on AWS and consists of the order management system which is custom developed on LAMP stack, and a MongoDB reporting database. Part of the immediate need will be to understand, review, and confirm the security of the environment and then get into management and new feature development support.
The Order Management System has a PHP based user front end which my team uses to service accounts. The system integrates with Salesforce via XML as well as a few other systems at different vendors with a combination of XML and flat files. (Our 3PL, Accounting system, etc) That is all in scope for these individuals.
