JOB DESCRIPTION :
Looking for a Security Professional to work with Desktop, Network and Operations teams with the rollout of endpoint security software.
Key Accountabilities:
Works with various Stakeholders and reports back progress to SecOps Director and the Project Manager.
Assists and participates in rollout, maintenance and administration of software tools that support the Information Security Program. Examples include Carbon Black, Qualys, SCCM and NXLog.
Works with other SecOps staff to migrate a Websense proxy environment over to Zscaler.
Collaborates with Desktop team as the Subject Matter Expert in regards to SEP environments and Xen.
Partners with Network (routers, switches, firewalls) and Linux teams to configure devices for syslog to report into the SIEM.
Maintains security team documentation, including runbooks, procedures, processes and hardware and software inventory detail.
Provides as necessary technical guidance and training for other SecOps team members. Analyzes security outputs from various technologies to effectively investigate and solution security incidents. Works with vendor(s) and other SecOps team members to ensure proper reporting.
Conducts vulnerability scans and coordinates patching of environments.
Required Skills:
Bachelor''s Degree in a related field and/or 5 - 8 years of related work experience in the IT Security field.
Security or IT Certification including A+, Network+, CISSP or CISA (MCSE a plus
Experience with Qualys is a must.
Experience with pathing tools (e.g. SCCM) a must.
Knowledge of phone scanning and patching on the operations side.
Strong written and verbal communications skills. Ability to speak and explain security technical terms to customers without similar backgrounds.
Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills to effectively meet multiple objectives.
Strong analytical, process and troubleshooting skills.
