Description:
Must Have: PeopleSoft HCM Trainer exp, Supported SME’s, Experience in training users on PeopleSoft HCM & Instructional design, skill development and change management with large scale, highly-matrixed organizations.
Job Duties
Work with internal, other campuses/medical center trainers and Subject Matter Experts to develop, and deliver in house training programs utilizing various delivery vehicles for preparing existing employees to implement company at go-live.
Quickly learn new internal software system and campus processes to competently deliver training content and support trainers.
In conjunction with internal Central Training team, develop instructor-led classroom training sessions, presentations, webinars and e-learning; design exercises and instructional activities that reinforce learning of new system technology and process changes.
Work with training lead to determine best way to utilize the training environment.
Design activities for use in training and practice sessions.
Utilize test environment to review training courses to ensure alignment with production system.
Assist in Operational User Testing to ensure participants understand how to use the system, get questions answered and can complete the testing.
Execute test cases as required.
Work with training lead to utilize a web-based learning management system to coordinate the course offerings and track attendance.
Maintain records to monitor progress and ensure goals are met to train specific groups of employees by targeted dates.
Act as a change agent, communicate clear and consistent messages to support change management efforts.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Comprehensive knowledge of learning and development principles including familiarity with adult learning theory, instructional design, skill development and change management with large scale, highly-matrixed organizations.
Bachelor’s degree in Training and Development, Education or related area, or equivalent experience.
Experience in training users on PeopleSoft HCM.
Detailed understanding of PeopleSoft HCM.
Demonstrated success training adult learners through a variety of methods including instructor-led, seminars, workshops, webinars, and e-learning.
Master of oral, written, presentation and facilitation skills; ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.
Excellent active listening skills.
Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others.
Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges.
Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
Experience working with non-training individuals to assist them in conducting training.
Ability to understand, interpret complex content and convert into clear, easy-to-understand instructional material.
Expertise in instructional technologies including effective application of multimedia, computers, and software for use in development and delivery of web-based courses.
Experience implementing audio and video in digital format for online learning.
Proficient in the use of Articulate Storyline, and Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator to create instructional graphics. Knowledge of UPK or other similar tools.
Proficiency in graphic design, layout and adherence to style guides
