Job Description:
Our client is seeking a VB.NET Developer for their Quincy, MA and Carlisle, PA locations. The ideal candidates must have a minimum of 3-4 years of industry (IT) experience in the analysis, design, coding, unit and integration testing and deployment of application code. Retail or Grocery Industry experience highly preferred.
Candidates are required to demonstrate experience with the following application and product sets:
At least 2 years programming experience in VB.NET
T-SQL & PL SQL
Databases: MS SQL Server 2008/2014, Oracle 11g, IBM DB2 and MS Access 2010
Experience with relational database and data modeling
Experience in designing and building SSIS packages
Understanding of SDLC
Demonstrated understanding of testing processes
