We currently have a 6 month assignment for (Cassandra developer) open with the Financial Management area.
Location: Prudential Tower, NJ.
Years of Experience: Intermediate (4-6Years)
· Responsibilities:
Scope of Work:
- Hands-on experience developing for and administration of (configuring and tuning) Cassandra. Ideally as part of a DataStax Enterprise (5.x or higher) cluster, but we will consider equivalent experience with other big data technology stacks and providers.
- Query optimization using Solr / Spark / Spark SQL.
Mid-to-senior-level experience developing with Python 3.x (Pandas, Jupyter, and other common data science packages) and at least one additional language

- Basic Linux admin experience, including the ability to write shell scripts
- Strong analytical and communication skills
