Job Description:
Job Title :Report Developer (Power BI or Tableau, SSRS or Cognos )
Location:Columbus, OH
Job Type: Contract
Duration: Long Term
Interview: Phone round and May be In-person for second round.
Description of Duties (Primary & Secondary) – List the top 5 and their % of Total Time.
Note - This is the most important factor in determining the agency’s needs. It is not necessary to tell the MSP Vendor that a programmer will do programming, rather try to focus on what the agency-specific needs are if possible. For example, a tester might have something like this ‘test case execution and regression testing 40%, create manual test cases using Microsoft Visual Studio Test Manager 20%, etc.’ 1. Meet business users to understand and analyze their processes – 20% of time.
2. Assist ODE in determining the appropriate Data Visualization tools (Power BI or Tableau) or Reporting tools (MS SSRS or Cognos Reports) - 10% of time.
3. Build Reports in Power BI or Tableau, SSRS or Cognos – 50% of time .
Optional Duties (Based on skills or resource availability)
4. Create CUBE using Microsoft Analysis Service Create dimensions, measures and measure groups. These cubes will source the data from the data warehouse system as defined in the Step 2. – 10% of time.
5. Assist/train ODE .NET developers in SSRS/Tableau/PowerBI/Cognos report creations – 10% of time.

8-10 years'' overall experience in IT
5-7 years in data warehouse design / maintenance.
35 years'' experience in each position skill listed below:
Meeting business users and analyze the requirements for the dimensional purpose.
Star-Schema Modeling, Snowflake Schema Modeling, Fact and Dimension tables. Modelling experience in an Oracle database environment preferred.
Must have experience in designing dimensional data models/facts from scratch.
Highly recommended but not required skills. 1-2 years'' experience in each position skill listed below:
Building CUBE using Microsoft Analysis Service.
Building reports using Microsoft SSRS
Building reports using PowerBI
Building reports using Tableau
