Description:
The ETL/BI Developer is responsible for configuring, developing, troubleshooting, enhancing, testing, deploying and supporting ETL/BI solutions.
Develops and uses ETL applications to perform data analysis, create technical designs and provide applications support.
Essential Functions Creates and maintains ETL specifications and process documentation to produce the required data deliverables (data profiling, source to target maps, ETL flows
Configures and tunes ETL for optimization. Maintains a reporting, monitoring and dashboard frameworkTroubleshoots and resolves data, system and performance issues
Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities:
Ability to work with Informatica PowerCenter, ETL data warehousing tools and concepts
Ability to work with BI development and presentation tools preferably OBIEE or other tools.
Ability to document and troubleshoot problems and effectively communicate with business and technical team members at all levels
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Minimum Education, Experience Requirements
BS degree
5+ years software development experience in one or more of the following areas: ETL, BI and DW.
Oracle PL/SQL experience.
Experienced in Production Support work in an Onshore / Offshore Model
