Role Specifics:
This role is for a release engineer with impeccable communication and project management abilities who will triage codebase, direct, manage, supervise software configuration and release readiness for all eCommerce agile teams for desktop and mobile web
Collaborate with multiple teams and scrum masters to prioritize software configuration needs and maintain code freeze deadlines for bi-weekly software releases
Assign lower environments to release trains and testing efforts to certify releases
Work closely with Front end/Backend development, QA, Devops teams to ensure all deadlines are met leading up to each release, ensure software readiness/completion for each lower environment through to production push
Analyze and resolve software configuration issues to maintain product integrity and overall roll out of software
Responsible for first-level triage of new defects identified in higher testing environments and identifying the appropriate team members to resolve
Required Skills:
6+ years’ experience in software release management, technical project management and leadership of matrix teams
Broad technical knowledge of DevOps processes, C#, .NET, JavaScript, React and general technical troubleshooting acumen required
Familiar with of the following tools required: Jira, Confluence, Git, Github, TeamCity, TFS and Fiddler
Must have a thorough experience with Jira and Confluence (candidates that do not possess these skills will be rejected)
Time management and organization skills required
