Release Manager:
Very strong in communication, coordination and stakeholder management
Strong expertise in Build Planning, Co-ordination and Implementation
Co-ordination with various stakeholders – Dev, Testing, Infrastructure, PS, Business etc.,
Good understanding in Oracle SQL, Unix, Core Java
Good understanding in technologies like RLM, RTC, Jenkins, SNOW, Sonar, SharePoint is a plus
Get package from team, understand content and functionality of the project, communicate same to UAT testers who generally don’t participate in business user sessions in the beginning.
Train the trainer - 500+ BUs using citi screening. Training material prepared by BA team, RM should explain / navigate material with the end users on how the application works
We use HPQC for issue tracking - During UAT RM should review the issues being tabled by testers, do initial triaging, conduct internal meeting with dev, product development, user team and finally log the issue in HPQC if found valid
Dev, BA teams don’t have UAT access - Test support team (functional testers) who has access to UAT - RM need to work with them the testing mechanism so that they can better prepare test data
