Position : Release Manager

Responsibilities
Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews
Lead and coordinate Go-Live activities including the execution of the deployment Plans and checklists
Responsible for implementing and managing release processes for the progression of code in the development, QA, UAT, TEST, and production environments
Work collaboratively with all participants in software development and Infrastructure projects, in multiple teams and support and co-ordinate the developers and testers during the release cycle
Build the IT Release Calendar in working closely with the CIO and Senior Executives
Develop project plans, including goals, identification of risks, budget, resource requirements, and communicates goals with the team
Manage risks and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule, and quality
Measure and monitor progress to ensure application releases are delivered on time, within budget, and that they meet or exceed expectations
Coordinate release content and effort based on the bugs and enhancements, customer requests, and operating system updates
Use agile methodologies with focus on incorporating iterative releases into the design and release control processes
Keep up to date on overall activities of the team, identifying problem areas and taking corrective actions
Collaborate effectively and consistently with project sponsor, key stakeholders, cross functional teams, and core team to enlist project support and facilitate completion of work
