Local IT Solutions firm has a client located in Cleveland, OH that is seeking a Release Management Lead ( Salesforce ) contractor/contraqct to hire opportunity.
· Release Management (RM) Lead is responsible for implementation and continuous improvement of processes and procedures in support of Salesforce configuration, development and migration.
· The candidate will be responsible for planning, coordination and oversight of our Salesforce releases, patches, and emergency change requests, and work closely with agile development teams.
· Ability to translate an idea or need into a completed solution or work product.
· Ability to communicate complex technical concepts and solutions in clear, concise and easily readable format by both technical and nontechnical
· Act as a Subject Matter Expert in the discovery and investigation of critical production problems as required. · Need strong project management skills, release management experience, and excellent analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
· Strong written and oral communication skills with proven ability and initiative to learn and research new concepts, ideas, and technologies quickly.
· Comfortable working in a team-oriented, collaborative, open communication environment and reaching across functional borders.
· Coordinate product releases, ensuring cross-team communication and ensuring that Salesforce requirements are met in the process and provide tier 2, on-call support for critical deployment problems and issues.
· Bachelor degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
· 8+ years IT experience, with 6+ years of experience that covers working across the Software Development Lifecycle (i.e. experience with development and operations, and/or existing Release Management role) with multiple teams.
· 4+ years’ experience hands-on experience with release management.
· 2+ yrs. experience with Salesforce. (Including but not limited to managing sandboxes, users, process builders; how to use change sets and their limitations; etc
· A proven track record with release management tools and concepts.
· Experience using agile project management tools (such as Rally or JIRA
· Experience with Agile development and release practices, GitHub or other source control tools.
