Description:

As a member of the Change and Release team, and responsible for Change & Release coordination, the resource should have strong change management, planning, and communication skills. He or she must be focused, self-driven, fast, and hold themselves and their work to a high standard.

The Release Coordinator responsible for:

Planning, identifying, tracking, monitoring, recording and controlling changes and releases
Coordinating and managing continuity between multiple environments through Release Management processes.
Capturing business / technical application components and release specific criteria within Release Package
Opening and managing Change Requests and Release packages in Service Now
Managing and coordinating the documentation of business and technical process release components, defect information for any given deployment
Maintaining and coordinating schedule of releases/deployments of applications across various environments
Managing/coordinating the code implementation activities within multiple environments (development, test, training, validation, production, disaster recovery etc
Participating on a team of internal subject matter experts, outside consultants, and system integrators.
Engaging and coordinating with IT leadership on their involvement, updates and status checks during implementations
Conducting Formal Stage Gate review meetings with IT leadership
Maintaining a release repository, manage the release calendar and schedules
Representing changes, maintaining activities and releases in CRB meetings
Handling all Infrastructure changes and run the Infrastructure CAB meetings
Supporting, maintaining and enforcing of IT Change/Release Procedures
SPOC for all IT change and release activities across globally
Reviewing, assessing and conducting audits on Change Requests that are submitted for approvals
Monitoring changes from build stage to post implementation
Coordinating approvals and tasks with various teams, following up on overdue changes and releases for closure
Required:
3 years’ experience of supporting an ITSM platform.
3 years’ experience with ServiceNow
Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Strong ITIL Process and Workflow knowledge.
Experience in the Pharmaceutical industry, providing understanding of how Release management changes might impact Patient Safety;
General knowledge of SDLC and GxPs
Knowledge of good documentation practices and Authoring Release Notes
Maintain and coordinate schedule of releases/deployments of applications across various environments.
Manage/coordinate the code implementation activities within multiple environments at a global level.
Participate on a team of internal subject matter experts, outside consultants, and system integrators.
Should have experience in ServiceNow module implementation, customization of tool, UAT and stakeholder engagement.
Experience in Agile methodology
Experience in Reporting on change metrics and KPIs
