Job Title: Recruiter IV

Work Location: Austin, TX (Object Rocket office) (100 Congress)

Hours: 9am – 6pm (feedback sessions at the end of the day, chance of occasional late days)


Sourcing for a range of candidates, with a heavy focus on Software Developers and Engineers, and building a candidate pipeline

Candidate screenings

Help own the interview process for candidates in tandem with office manager

Facilitating feedback sessions

Working with managers to understand requirements, conduct intake sessions

Gather feedback from shortlisted candidates/interviews

What does a typical work day look like?

Most of the day is scouring job boards, making calls. Monday mornings kick off the week – they will go through the current state (recap of current progress), talk through plans for the week and discuss potential road blocks. End of the week they will turn in a report of progress that was made for the week, and plans for the following week. This is done in the form of an email.

What does the team environment look like?

- This person will report directly to the COO of Object Rocket. They will be the sole recruiter for this office. They will be able to lean on the talent acquisition team for questions and occasional assistance. The TA team sits in the San Antonio office.

Required Skills (and years of experience):

8yrs min. recruiting experience

Proven recent track record of recruiting tech talent

Know the difference between product development and software development

Must know their way around computers

Preferred Skills:

Recent IT recruiting experience

Client uses ISOMS as their ATS, ISOMS exp is a plus

Required Soft Skills:

Communication, driven, self-starter. Able to operate autonomously. Understanding requirements. Able to take feedback and criticism.

How will the performance be measured?

Quality of candidates is a top priority. Numbers are involved but quality will always trump that.

Education Requirement:
