Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in MIS/CS or similar discipline with formal software engineering coursework, or in lieu of a formal degree 4 years additional professional software development experience
4-7 years’ experience developing modern front-end, web-based applications with core javascript, JS frameworks, and at least 2 years specifically working in ReactJS/JSX, Flux, redux, or similar stack.
Demonstrated track record of individual growth, academically and/or professionally
Strong desire to learn new things and venture into uncharted territory
Purpose of the role:
As Front End Architect, you will be responsible for developing interactive front ends to complex software that solves business problems. Within the construct of the React framework, you will be responsible for standing up a new initiative and choosing the correct technology tools to enhance core React. You will be responsible for thinking, collaborating ideas for solutions with peers and junior staff, as well as creating and approving designs of others. A successful candidate will have a sense of pride in ownership in their work and strive to produce the highest quality deliverables and takes responsibility to ensure the project is successful.
The Front End Architect will collaborate with the UX designers and turn clickable prototypes/wireframes/etc into robust interactive applications through endpoint integration.
In this role, you will be responsible for both writing new code, servicing/troubleshooting existing code, and leading technical designs and solutions. The Front End Architect will share technical responsibility for the success of the application with the other n-tier architects and tech leads.
Creating Standard Work, documentation, QA test plans, and other supporting activities will be required.

Practitioner ability in ReactJS and maintaining state within a service-orientated app
Working knowledge of Flask (python experience is a plus)
Ability to create and parse valid json objects
Exposure to Service Orientated Architecture (SOA) and/or micro-services patterns
Experience using Git, or similar source repo, issue tracking, and committing code
Ability to follow standards and project processes as defined by project managers, architects, and the customer
Communication with customers and stakeholders of all levels, both oral and written, is a critical success factor. Strong presentation skills and an ability to demonstrate concepts to an audience of multiple levels.
Experience with NPM, NodeJS, WebPack, ReactRouter, Flux, JSX
Knowledge of CORS, CSRF, and other security issues across domains

Preferred candidates will also have some of the following:
Knowledgeable in a middle layer tech stack, such as Java, C#/.Net, Sharepoint, Python
Working knowledge of Flask
Prior exposure to the Hadoop stack and hosting on Spark
Experience with Angular2+, VueJS, and other competitive frameworks WebSphere
Design/UX/Human factors experience
