RMS Consultant: (Developer)

Plano, TX

Job and Responsibilities

Ø Assist in defining and reviewing the technical requirements for the Oracle RMS application.

Ø Create the technical designs for the individual components, based on the business requirements provided in the functional designs.

Ø Participate in transitions of the customization functional designs.

Ø Perform the detailed design of application and technical architecture components.

Ø Development and unit testing

Ø Follow program developed coding practices to ensure the application is free of most common coding vulnerabilities.

Ø Participate in code reviews.

Ø Inform the technical architect and project manager of any issues that may affect any other areas of the project.

Ø Participate in transitions of the application or technical architecture components to the testers.

Ø Fix any defects and performance problems discovered in testing.

Ø Document the application to facilitate maintenance.

Skills Required.

Ø 7+ years of development experience in Oracle Retail Suite of applications (RMS, RPM and SIM)

Ø Working with Oracle development tools including PLSQL, Pro*C

Ø Development with SQL and PL/SQL best practices including OA framework

Ø Working independently with limited general supervision.

Tech skills

Ø Development with Oracle forms, SQL and PL/SQL

Functional Skills

Retail domain knowledge, Expertise in Purchase Order Management and Allocation is preferred
