Job Description:
Bachelor of Science-EE Degree or Master of Science EE (preferred)
Minimum of 5 years work experience in analog and digital circuits; should have experience using appropriate simulation tools
Experience in designing low-power circuitry for use in portable battery-powered products
Experience with RF systems plus associated simulation tools and test equipment up to 3 GHz would be very positive
Ability to program microprocessors (preferably PIC) using either assembly language or C
Microprocessor programming experience with serial I/O (USB), I2C, SPI, and Analog/Digital conversion
Ability to write Personal Computer applications for internal use in product test/setup
Ability to write simple Windows applications for customer use is desirable
Working knowledge of applicable test equipment (i.e. Digital Multi-meter, Digital Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator
Project coordination
Trouble shooting & multi-tasking capabilities
Any design experience with buried-object detection using RF and/or Magnetics would be very positive
Minor assembly capabilities
Strong verbal and written skills
Small company environment
