Title: Sr. Mobile Application Developer
Location: Sacramento (required) CA
W2 only
Position Description: We are looking for a great Xamarin focused .NET/iOS/Android developers to join our Center for Innovation (CFI) team. We are looking to primarily utilize the Xamarin framework for application development, the Microsoft technology stack (ASPNET, C#, SQL Server), and various AWS / Azure platform services.
Essential Duties & Summary of Responsibilities:
Demonstrates advanced knowledge of software engineering practices and techniques, technology trends, and working knowledge of domain expertise
Defines, analyzes, and interprets needs and requirements for a complex system
Coordinate and participate in the design, implementation, testing, and support of Android and IOS-based applications using Java, Swift, Objective-C, Cocoa, Xcode, SDKs
Design and implement new features, create UI, debugging, data modeling
Work independently within a group of developers to drive product development.
Assist in testing all applications against software and hardware versions
Provide timely turnaround and documentation of bug fixes during test cycle
Take ownership of bringing new app-based products to market and extending features of existing product(s
Communicate and coordinate effectively with other independent technologists and non-technologists to ensure the progress towards our goals is achieved.
Develop mobile app focused software in a rapid development environment to integrate with a growing set of practice management software solutions.
Qualifications Requirement:
7 years’ experience with developing complex Mobile Apps
7 years’ experience with the following: Objective-C, XCode, iOS SDK
7 years Knowledge of JSON, XML, REST web service framework, Push notification
2 years Xamarin Development experience
2 years Practical knowledge of C#
Mastery of Swift, Objective-C, Xcode, Interface Builder
Proven track record in delivering iOS applications; one or more iOS apps already developed
Strong understanding of interactive application development paradigms, memory management, network programming, concurrency and multi-threading
Strong object-oriented design and development skills
Ability to translate technical requirements into real user solutions
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Experience working in Agile development teams and task management
Have a deep understanding of application development, utilizing Xamarin, C#, iOS, Android, etc.
Demonstrate working knowledge of any mainstream object oriented programming language, C++ or C#
Possess foundational knowledge of: HTML, CSS, JSON, and the relational data model
Display working knowledge of the SQL language and/or SQL-based relational database system(s) (i.e. MySql, SQL Server, Oracle, etc. NoSQL is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Excellent teamwork skills with an ability to get the work done with minimal supervision
Have a passion for mobile/tablet/desktop application development and technology in general
Be comfortable working in a distributed, virtual environment.
Be capable of creating and executing on technical direction and tasks.
Have excellent interpersonal skills and a sense of humor.
Understanding mobile performance, latency, and security issues preferred.
Healthcare Background preferred.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science or other applicable area of expertise, or equivalent experience
