Job Description :
Role: R Developer
Location: Manhattan, NY
Responsibilities:
Work with quants/modelers, BI developers and the Business to
further enhance R models.
Implement new models created in conjunction with the
quants/modelers
Work with ETL developers to support data flow and efficiency.
Participate in the Agile process and meet goals/deadlines.
Participate in R maintenance and upgrades as necessary.
Qualifications:
Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science or related discipline or
relevant equivalent experience
minimum 3 years of experience
Experience in R coding and optimization
Experience in performance tuning of R code
Strong Knowledge of RDBMS and SQL required
2 years of experience with a relational database (Oracle, SQL
Server, MySQL, Teradata or Netezza)
Experience using SQL or stored procedure programming
Proficiency in a programming language such as C#/.NET or C++
Ability to work in a team environment.
