R&D Project Manager

Rate : $70/hr on C2C Maxx

Long term contract

Project Manager / Program manager in the area of Clinical/Medical
Affairs/Pharmacovigilance:

Has defined authority and responsibility for a significant area of
work, including highly complex work activities covering technical,
financial, and quality aspects. Additionally, work involves
contributing to the formulation of a strategy and the creative
application of a wide range of technical/professional and/or management
principles. Establishes organizational objectives and delegates
assignment and is accountable for actions and decisions taken by self
and subordinates. Influences significant policy formation in own
organization and within business partners'' organizations. Decisions
impact work of business partners, achievement of organizational
objectives, and financial performance. Develops high-level
relationships with business partners and industry leaders.

POSITION DUTIES:

Responsible for managing business partner projects to deliver solutions for
Pharma R&D generating business value
Drive the definition of the project''s scope, business case
development, and identification of required resources in collaboration
with business partners and other stakeholders
Oversee the tracking and maintenance of project financials
Multi project / program management
Drive the development and management of the project workplan
Lead and manage project teams
Develop staff, motivate team members, and resolve conflicts
Manage external parties (e.g. Business Services, third party vendors,
etc in
projects
Proactively monitor business implications, compliance, issues, risks,
and business partner satisfaction throughout project lifecycle
Manage all project risks/issues and take necessary actions to
mitigate them
Adheres to global project management best practices and standards

REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES:

Educational Requirements:
Bachelors Degree with 10+ years of applicable experience OR
Masters
Degree with 6+ years of applicable experience, or
Ph.D with 8+ years of
applicable experience

Position requires a university, advanced degree, or business
equivalent, preferably in a business or IT discipline
