Role title: Qualys Security Analyst

Responsibilities:
This role will work onsite for a financial services client in Wilton, CT alongside with the Qualys Vulnerability Risk Management team. The consultant will provide Qualys advisory for the VulnMgmt module and potentially others. Other responsibilities will be troubleshooting scan authentication failures, tune scanning activities, and assess and configure effective remediation reporting.
Required skills:
2 - 3 years of Qualys experience (required)
Working knowledge of Qualys Vulnerability Management – Deploying scanners, building asset groups, report analysis.
Add on’s/Plus’:
Effective writing and communication skills.
Convey risk as it relates to the business, such as complex issues to non-technical audiences.
Subject matter expertise in vulnerability remediation and prioritization.
Understanding of risk assessment methodologies such as CVSS.
