Quality Manager

Client currently has an opening for a Quality Manager. The Quality Manager will
maintain and further develop the Quality System and support processes to ensure that the company fulfills the requirements and maintains the current certifications: ISO9001, ISO/TS16969, ISO14001, and others according to the operations of the plant.

Responsibilities:

- Manage quality for all processes of company, support quality for all entities selling products through the company's US distribution center.
- Ensure that company and company's Global Quality Control Procedures and Policies are practiced throughout the organization.
- Plan and implement internal and supplier audits and support to company's Group audits.
- Create and maintain documents and records belonging to Quality, in close relation with customers, suppliers, and process owners.

- Management of measurements and records according to procedures and control plans that will ensure production of finished products will meet quality specifications and standards.
- Management of nonconformities, including from customers, suppliers, and internal operations.
- Management of corrective actions in cooperation with internal manufacturing, suppliers and administration.
- Management of continuous improvements, in close relation with all process owners, LEAN organization and 6S teams.
- Creating and maintaining relevant reports to company management.
Proactively contacting and visiting the customer to get necessary information related to product and service quality.
- Creation and coordination of incoming inspection on bought goods to check and meet customer specific requirements on products and packaging.

- Collection and storage of certificates of conformance of bought goods and management of creation of relevant certificates required by customer.
- Coordination of possible sorting activities in case that incoming inspection fails, customer or client's plant request.
- Acting as first contact available for customer in case of claims, product changes, audits and other specific needs. Coordinate further action if necessary in cooperation with related company plants affected.
- Create and maintain relevant reports for management of company and entities of company group.
- Support overseas company plants and their NAFTA customers, including being the first point of contact and visiting customer sites.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Minimum of 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment. Background in logistics a plus.
- Two years in quality management and experience with ISO9001 or TS16494.
- Desired experience with glass processing and/or the automotive industry.
- Good organization; PDCA.

- Good time management skills, setting of priorities and consequent execution.
- Strong written and communication skills.
- Ability to work and communicate in a multicultural environment within the group.
- Excellent computer skills/Word/Excel/PowerPoint
