Job Description :
TRN Systems Inc. is seeking a qualified individual to act as Quality Assurance Specialist to support Quality Services for a large state government project. The qualified applicant will have demonstrated large project QA experience with MMIS(Note: MMIS = Medicaid Management Information System) systems, preferably Medicaid systems, and demonstrated expertise with current Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) requirements. The applicant will also have excellent facilitation, writing, and client relationship skills.

Position Responsibilities:

Submit Weekly Activity Reports
Prepare Monthly Quality Assurance Oversight Reports, to be delivered as aligned with the Executive Steering Committee meeting schedule, with the following sections:
Project Governance: an assessment of the involvement and participation of the State''s Executive Steering Committee and Project Sponsor;
Project Management: an assessment of the State''s Project Management plans, the definitionand attainment of the project''s objectives, the Medicaid Enterprise''s ability to provide staff and budget, and the organization''s stability. The assessment of the State''s Project Management activities shall include, but not be limited to, a review and analysis of the following:
Issue and Risk Management;
Requirements Management;
Scope and Change Controls:
Schedule Management;
Project Team Management;
Communications Management;
MMIS Solution Contractor Management;
Integration Management;
Security and Privacy Policies, Procedures, and Controls;
Compliance with State Medicaid Manual Requirements for MMIS Projects; and
Adherence to the project''s Advance Planning Document(s
Along with the Project Manager, help develop an assessment of the users'' and stakeholders'' involvement and participation in requirements validation, design review and acceptance, test case review, user acceptance testing and user training.
Along with the Project Manager, help develop a quality control process to prevent omissions and detect problems
Along with the Project Manager, help develop expert recommendations on how to address system development issues
Along with the Project Manager, help develop assessment regarding many different aspects of the State''s project management
Along with the Project Manager, help develop a one-time Project Health Assessment Report, to be delivered within 45 days of the contract effective date.
Along with the Project Manager, help develop activity reports for critical meetings
Position Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree
Prior MMIS experience is Must.
Experience working with State or Federal Governments
Experience performing IV&V and QA Oversight work
Demonstrated experience implementing quality processes, templates, metrics and standards
Demonstrated initiative and ability to work in a self-directed manner to accomplish objectives
Demonstrated ability to be organized and multi-task; establish and follow priorities
Proficiency in using Microsoft-based office applications
