Description :
The Quality assurance Lead has accountability for:
Developing, monitoring and overseeing all testing efforts and results for project
Provide input on overall testing efforts to minimize risk, errors, impact to customers and trading partners
Work collaboratively with NGG program manager, QA defect manager, QA test coordinators, QA testers and developers to ensure quality results for NGG development objects.

Required Skills:
Analytical skills to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a more general understanding, distinguish presented user requests from the underlying true needs, and distinguish solution ideas from requirements
Has a deep understanding of application and integration testing concepts and methods
Has a deep understanding of project, change and release management
Has a broad understanding of SAP functionality, and IDocs
Has a broad understanding of IT B2B functions and standards
Ability to work with the vast array of information and to cope with rapidly changing information
Able to work in a collaborative team environment, including facilitation skills to lead process improvement workshops
Excellent understanding of business complexity and project interdependencies
Strong organizational, documentation, written and verbal communication skills including intellectual curiosity and the ability to question thought partners across functional areas
Absorbs complex technical information and communicates effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences

Responsibilities
Manages overall quality assurance work plan which includes all aspects of testing and quality assurance activities for project Polaris
Oversees on and off shore testers and coordinators
Works with QA testers to ensure quality solutions and results
Works with QA coordinators to ensure NGG results are delivered and executed on time
Works collaboratively with defect manager/coordinator to analyze defect data to identify re-work reductions and ways to reduce defects
Oversees defect resolution and re-execution of tests
Reports status and escalate issues to NGG program manager
Establishes metrics and manages daily meetings and activities
Ensure QA team is working on the highest priority tasks as the project progresses
Provide guidance, answer questions, remove roadblocks for QA team working on QA effort
Organize and facilitate pre-work needed to execute tests and testing
Analyzes results, documents and to ensure value realization for testing effort and provides suggestions for process improvements
Executes test scripts when necessary
Follows testing standards, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistent testing procedures
Develops and distributes documentation and standard operating procedures
