IDEALFORCE has a CONTRACT position available immediately for a QA Automation Tester to join our customer in Phoenix AZ. This is an ONSITE position. This project encompasses building the system and operational support processes required by the Affordable Care Act. This includes supporting implementation of features for a system that allows consumers to apply for public assistance benefits, such as, Medical Assistance, Nutrition Assistance, and Cash Assistance.
The project includes representatives from two state agencies Department of Economic Security – DES and Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System – AHCCCS.
For the Department of Economic Security, this project includes either replacement or significant enhancement to all of mainframe and web applications that support processes for public assistance today. It also includes opportunities for enhancing additional systems and improving service delivery for a variety of social service programs.
The position will be responsible for the development of automation frameworks, establishing infrastructure to convey automated testing, and the creation and execution of automated test scripts. As part of a larger team, this person will work with the QA team to understand solution requirements and assist the test leads in the development of test strategies and plans utilizing test automation best practices.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Investigate and recommend innovative automated test approaches and processes for existing applications
Participate in designing and developing testing automation framework/tools that can support component-level testing automation for new functionalities, and a full-blown regression testing suite for the user interface.
Continuously improve automated testing methodologies enable testers to maximize test coverage.
Work with the QA test lead to include all recent build tests to an overall regression strategy.
Execute automated testing scripts and generate testing result reports.
Based on automated testing result reports, work with QA test lead to ensure all functionalities have been tested, defects have been identified and documented, impacts have been assessed, and resolutions provided.
Ability to think outside of the box to develop effective solutions utilizing available technologies
Complete quality assurance duties including reviewing and interpreting business requirements, creating test plans, documenting test scenarios and expected outcomes, setting up test data, executing functionality tests, and complete production validation for complex projects.
Qualifications:
The applicant must have the knowledge and skills as outlined below:
Deep technical knowledge of automated testing, automatic test data creation in a complex environment, design and implementation of automation frameworks, automated test script design, build execution and maintenance
Microsoft Test Manager (MTM), Team Foundation Server (TFS), or other test tools
Proficient analytical skills to evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, consolidate details and extract to functional requirements
Proficient with Agile Development Methodologies like Scrum
Must be self-motivated and able to meet deadlines
Ability to successfully work and navigate with lots of ambiguity
Demonstrated ability to develop and write technical documentation
Willingness to work collaboratively and provide support to end users, including training on basic functionality. Identify errors, investigate reported issues and manage through resolution – escalate to IT as required.
