Quality Analyst
Location: San Jose, CA 95110
Duration: 4-5 months
As an execution & test lead the role is responsible to support marketing, engagement and product campaigns through notifications and other content workflows in CC Home.
This role will establish and enforce standards, processes, and rigor around the creation and management of notification templates for marketing campaigns and will be responsible for setting-up and execution of notification campaigns, working closely with the business team.
Responsibility:
Creation of new notification templates (authored as JSON files) Ensure standardization and adherence with attributes and template naming convention, taxonomy & treatment
Define and associate required meta data with created templates for ease of search & management
Responsible for assembling required content copy working closely with engagement & campaign managers for upcoming campaigns
Working with the localization team to localize the content into applicable set of languages; scheduling deliveries to match campaign timelines
Pre-flight and testing of the created templates on Stage for correctness; ensure all the needed attributes are defined appropriately
Organize and manage multiple campaigns templates and archiving the ones that are no longer required in the repository
Workflow testing for different user scenarios and other content intensive workflows for CC Home
Testing of new notification design interface & testing of workflows, providing engineering & product management input & results of testing
Coordinate with engineering and provide feedback on any expected future changes to the process
The successful applicant must be a self-starter with the ability to prioritize and multi-task with minimal direction.
Skills:
Candidate should have experience on testing product with 3-4 years in the same role.
Automation knowledge should be good value. Good written and verbal communication. A few additional skils include –
Experience writing semantic markup using HTML5, XHTML.
Experience working with XML, JSON and other data formats.
Experience working with Velocity and other template engines.
Ability to author new Velocity templates with placeholders for dynamic information
Familiarity with AEM or other content management systems
Familiarity with GiTHUb and source code management systems
Exposure to debugging and content testing / tracking, A/B testing etc.
Ability to carry out testing and create required test set-up to carry out functional testing
Ability to create scripts to automate certain tasks and edit existing scripts for changes
Education:
A science or engineering graduate with exposure to web technologies and Windows and Macintosh platforms.
