Job Description:
This job provides opportunity to work as technical expert on development and maintenance Client Reporting and Middle office application. Job provides opportunity to work on time-to-market driven environment and scope to improve the quality of applications to user satisfaction. Prior experience in finance will be useful, however, the ability and willingness to master new technical and business concepts will be considered.
Key Responsibilities
· Able to understand user/business requirements to complete robust technical solution
· Proactive and provide quick turnaround to business requirements and management requests
· Ability to drive the team, lead effectively and manage the multiple dashboards across application
· Provide exemplary technical expertise on development and maintenance of key applications in Client Reporting and Analytics tool
· Work closely and communicate effectively with Business teams, Project Managers, Business Analysts, Clients, Development teams, Internal cross Operations team and remote teams
· Coordinate with team members in multiple time-zones
· At times, interact with senior stakeholders to articulate project status, develop a roadmap for future business success and regularly report on key milestones
· 5+ years of relevant development experience in complex dashboard and lead BI teams.
· Able to work independently, good communication skills, Has experience in working on complex and medium to large projects
Required Skills:
· Good functional working knowledge of Capital Markets and consumer reporting
· Excellent analytical ability to understand complex and diverse issue, identify root cause and recommend solutions
· Exceptional hands-on skills in developing applications using Qllikview BI tool and Qliksense. Other Business Intelligence Tools knowledge will be a plus
· Good level of comfort using VB script to write macros in Qlikview and/or Excel
· Prior or current hands-on ETL & database(Oracle) development experience is preferred
· Experience in Data Lineage, Data Quality & Meta Data Management will be extremely beneficial.
· Expert level skill in writing SQLs for data analysis purposes
· Good knowledge on Oracle is needed
· Good understanding of HTML5 and Javascript will be a plus
· Experience in development of robust re-usable Services and components
· Ability to partner effectively with the various technology and business partners
· Excellent written, verbal communication, and business partnership skills
· Excellent scientific curiosity expected
· Strong Communication Skillset & be able to mingle, collaborate with diversified work streams with motto of accomplishing task as real Go-Getter
Education Level: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
