Job Description :
Position: QA engineer
Location: American Fork, Utah
Responsibilities to include:
Create test plans, test cases and test reports
Fully document test processes and test cases
Execute test cases, on a variety of consumer electronic devices
Track issues both internally and in collaboration with multiple external teams
Collaborate with peer testers and developers to improve testing processes and infrastructure
Maintain open communication with internal teams
Plan and document the testing effort via test plans and test cases for all projects
The successful Test Engineer will have:
BS Degree in Computer Science/STEM degree, or relevant experience
At least 2 years of Software Test Engineering experience with emphasis on UI manual testing
At least 2 years of experience with some or all phases of testing: Functional, Regression, and Integration
At least 2 years of experience writing test plans, test scenarios, test cases, execution of test case and documentation and interpretation of test results
At least 6 months experience with testing on any of the following areas: Web (HTML), iOS, Android, Roku, Xbox, Desktop Applications, or web services (API)
At least 6 months of development experience in log diving and analysis
At least 1 years of experience with defining the testing strategy for large scale programs and ensuring requirements traceability throughout the system development lifecycle
