Immediate need for QA Testing Manager– Remote position

Title: QA Testing Manager
Location: Baltimore, MD OR REMOTE
Duration: 6+ months

Interview: Phone and F2F

Only need to be onsite few times throughout project (Expenses will be paid) but wants them on east coast

Job Summary:

The role of QA Lead is to utilize software testing best practices and Testing Tools (Spira and SmartBear to name two) to pursue a zero-defect production environment and continuously improve and meet/exceed business objectives aligned to quality program delivery.

MUST HAVE ERP Implementation experience

This role leads a team of 3 testing analysts, and reports directly to GKIM PMO Manger, Info Sec, IT Governance, and Operations while working on Project Insight – an ERP Implementation globally.
Furthermore this role will establish quality standards for all Insight - related releases
This role will monitor and ensure quality standards are achieved across all facets of the development lifecycle and Integration and User Acceptance Testing.
This role will work with cross-functional leaders to dramatically increase the quality of our delivery by decreasing business disruptions associated with defects.

Job Responsibilities:

· You will be working in a hybrid software development environment: following the methodology set forth by our System Integrator
· You will help define and refine the test strategy and approach for all Insight applications, provide quality assurance leadership, and be ultimately responsible for ensuring software quality
· A hands-on approach is taken and requires strategic thinking and planning to provide leadership and expertise throughout the entire QA lifecycle, ensuring the success of the team''s manual and automation efforts.
· The lead will provide regular direction, mentorship, and coaching to QA and software development team members.
· Assist, as needed, in the development of Change Control and Release Management Strategy
· Educate global ICT and business colleagues on ICT QA Management, and ICT Change Management policies and best practices.
