Our client, one of the twelve regional Reserve banks in the Fed System, seeks an accomplished QA Tester.

Description:
The incumbent provides software testing management services to the systems owned by the Client.
Developing test automation strategies and approaches that incorporate multiple phases of testing including unit, system and integration, functional, performance, and regression testing.
Developing supporting test plans that incorporate automated testing tools. Creating and maintaining reusable automated tests.
Developing and implementing a strategy for creating and maintaining reusable test data. Create and implement automated testing of web applications across multiple web browsers and platforms.
Develop and maintain quality metrics. Experience with process definition and documentation and working knowledge of Release Management.
Experience directly managing continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) processes.
Support the application development unit testing strategy, tools, and automation. Coordinate with project management to assure testing is planned into all phases.
Develop, maintain and execute automated test scripts for requirement validation, integration, regression, performance and usability testing.
Collect performance requirements, along with developing the appropriate performance test work products (test strategies, plans, scenarios and scripts
Create/maintain reusable test data. Plan-fully prepare test environments in advance of testing.
Support automated testing of application and environmental upgrades as well as resolution of production issues.
Support and maintain quality related metrics like unit test coverage, testing progress. Document test results and assist with defect management.
Produce status reports related to the testing process. Review and maintain all project documentation in accordance with department procedures.
Participate in test strategy, test estimation and planning discussions.
Draft test related artifacts, including Test Plans, Business Test Scenarios and Requirements Traceability Matrices.
Maintain understanding of current and new testing technologies. Lead Lessons Learned or Project Review sessions, and identify potential work process improvements.

Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer is preferred.
Experience with HP Performance Center and Load Runner is a plus.
Experience with change management and defect tracking tools – JIRA is a plus.
Experience in the creation of SQL scripts.
Experience with Cucumber and Selenium.
