QA Tester
Location: Irving, TX
Duration: 6+ months
Need Locals only F2F Must
Job Responsibilities
1. Plan, estimate, design, and execute C# .Net test automation scripts in agile software development projects.
2. Follow test automation standards and processes.
3. Establish and maintain strong relationships with Business and Development groups.
4. Communicate complex information to a wide variety of individuals and groups.
5. Create and track daily test status and metrics.
6. Identify, track and follow through to ensure failed scripts are resolved.
7. Proactive in assessment of risk management and resolving issues.
8. Provide reporting on automation approach, scripting, and execution status.
9. Work with small team of testers (on/offshore) to meet all project milestones.
Qualifications
1. BS Degree or equivalent work experience in a software engineering discipline.
2. 4+ years test automation experience in an applicable software development environment.
2 years recent C# test automation experience in agile scrum projects.
3. Strong project release experiences covering all QA release cycle phases in an agile scrum environment.
4. Experience with agile methodologies, including backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, and task definition.
5. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with department staff and management group.
6. In-depth knowledge of QA tools, SDLC work procedures, and applicable industries.
Skills
Technical
1. Proficient in object oriented programing concepts.
2. Advanced C# .Net test experience is essential (Visual Studio Coded UI preferred
3. Proficient in designing test automation frameworks using data driven approach.
4. Proficient in test automation for Client-Server applications.
5. Proficient with TFS or other application lifecycle management tools.
6. Proficient in SQL validations to include complex joins, inserts, and updates.
7. Proficient in creating, analyzing and reporting test automation results and metrics with accuracy.
