Position : QA Test Lead
Location : Sparks, MD
Duration : 6+months

Primary Skills :Minimum of 7 years of QA Testing experience

Secondary Skills :Minimum of 2 years of experience leading a QA team

Description :
They are actively seeking a QA Testing Lead that will bring a testing discipline to the team and encourage developers to write unit tests in order to build quality in from the start. The Lead will help to ensure other Scrum team members are not impeded and helps to clear dependencies. The Lead will keep constant communication with other Scrum team members and timely issue escalation and should embody the values and culture of the Agile transformation process.
The Lead ensures adherence to QA quality standards accepted by the team. The Lead will actively participate in Sprint Retrospectives and actively follows through on action items.

Required Experience:
Minimum of 7 years of QA Testing experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience leading a QA team
Proven hands-on experience implementing and configuring Selenium automated testing pipelines and testing frameworks for Agile project teams
Proven automated in-sprint, regression, E2E, data, and performance testing experience required
Expert level experience with Selenium
Experience with Agile/Scrum environment
Experience generating detailed testing status and summary reports
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities :
Plans and coordinates test environments, test devices with Lead Developers
Own the design of test cases and test scripts
Own the implementation of new techniques for testing through automation
Secures test data and ensures acceptance criteria are testable
Designs test cases and test scripts
Validates user stories within each sprint
Orchestrates approach for sprint and release level tests (e.g. SIT, UAT. Performance, Security, Stress Testing)
Continuously perform regression testing and generalized exploratory testing
Ensures traceability of test scripts to user stories to use cases
Directs communications with extended QA team, both in and outbound
Orchestrates validation with QA execution and delivery team
Updates testing progress daily and update team members on progress
Documents, track and manage defects by working with the team to prioritize and resolve them
Ensure defects are clearly documented & easily reproducible by other team members
