Position: QA Test Lead
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Duration: 12 months

Description:
Responsibilities include designing and implementing manual and automated tests, debugging and defining corrective actions. You will also conduct testing before product launches to ensure the software meets the user’s needs, review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics. This will require you to work directly with team members to provide feedback and participate in resolving problems.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Technology Expertise:
Implementation test automation using modern tools.
Microsoft Test Manager (MTM
Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS
Knowledgeable in scripting languages used to automate testing.
Microsoft Office Suite.
Functional Expertise
Ability to test functional requirements communicated from the customer and developer.
Ability to develop test plans from requirements that includes both positive and negative testing.
Develop automated tests as required and implement into the software build process.
Utilization of the teams recommended testing tools.
Ability to learn how the software is supposed to operate to help improve quality.
Ability to document functional requirements communicated from the designated customer under the leadership of others.
Ability to provide rough work effort estimates.
Ability to commit and pull the latest source control versions.
Ability to perform unit testing of changed code, including directly affected modules.
Ability to build modules and run locally.
Ability to verify that a change has been applied to a build. In case of failure, resolve build.
Ability to identify gaps in processes and tools.
