This position is for a System Integration Test Lead which is a client facing role. Client wants someone who has lead a team of 25 or more (on-site and off shore team members) and Healtcare industry experience is a MUST
Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Test Manager, Test Lead will work with and assign work to Testers. They will track/monitor work progress to ensure the Testers are executing the work according to project schedules. Test Lead is required to understand the business environment, the technical context and the conformance criteria to support successful test gate entry and exit. Testing Lead should be able to collaborate with Test Manager, Clients and Development teams to understand the project environment and delivery timelines and resource any challenges in the project.
Critical Skills:
Worked as Test Lead for minimum of 5 Years.
Lead, guide and monitor the analysis, design and execution of the test cases, test procedures
Able to Create a Test Schedule (tasks, dependencies and assigned team members)
Communicate with the client or Other team members, as required
Review the test cases and test data generated by the Testers and get them to address the review comments
Create and maintain the required test automation framework(s)
Assign tasks to the Testers based on the software test plan
Check the status of each assigned task daily and resolve any issues faced by the team members with their tasks
Escalate and obtain resolution of the issues related to the test environment and team
Healthcare knowledge
A background investigation is required for this position.
Education and Experience:
Typically a technical Bachelor''s degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5-7 years of related experience
Knowledge and Skills”
5 or more years of experience in Leading Testers • Proficient in testing and development methodologies and their interaction.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledgeable in requirements, design specifications, and testing strategy to: perform ambiguity analysis, perform risk analysis, establish testing priorities and scope, develop testing strategy, review testing strategy, validate requirements and specifications, develop test plans, review test plan, develop test scenarios, select test design techniques and develop testing metrics collection plan in order to plan and prepare for testing.
Proficient in testing analysis and design, functional and performance models, and test specifications to: develop functional models for testing, develop performance models for testing, evaluate and validate test cases and scripts, validate functional models for testing, validate performance models for testing, develop test specifications, validate test specifications, validate testing coverage, escalate quality issues for resolution, evaluate test automation tools and validate testing environment in order to develop test specifications.
Proficient in testing processes and tools to: execute test cases and scripts, analyze test results, report on testing progress and results, facilitate defect resolution and document final test results in order to execute testing engagement.
Proficient in testing processes and testing metrics to: review test summary report, provide testing project feedback and archive testing assets in order to verify completion of testing.
