Description:
Design, create, review and execute manual test cases and automation scripts. Define test strategy for a feature/component.
Perform Positive/Negative/Integration/Regression/Automat ion/Browser Compatibility Tests and End to End testing. Raise defects, Triage, analyze, and pinpoint software issues that occur.
Requirements:
BS Required (Computer Science, Information Science, Bio Technology or related discipline
5+ experience with processes related to test development, software lifecycle and defect lifecycle.
Proven experience in developing, extending and maintaining, Regression, Functional Selenium automation framework.
Exposure on test management tools like HP ALM, JIRA etc.
Prepare and produce releases of software components.
Proven & hands on 5+ years of experience in Core Java, Selenium automation framework.
Demonstrate thorough understanding and ability to use source control / configuration management tools.
Demonstrate understanding of QA / QC process and test methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications (nice to have):
Knowledge on API testing using SoapUI a plus.
Knowledge on HP ALM, JIRA etc.
Working knowledge of molecular biology, chemistry, and/or biology is a plus.
