Our client, leading Irvine-based hybrid Interactive-Technology Studio creating/providing leading-edge digital solutions, for a variety of prominent global brands, and acting as a platform to develop ideas and turning them into new technology ventures seeks QA Lead engineer consultant.

Summary:
Client is looking for a Lead QA Engineer to join our growing team. Candidate will work closely with our development team testing web and mobile applications.

Education/Experience: Bachelor''s degree in a financial or technical discipline - preferred.

Skills and Competencies:
Write test documentation (test plans, test cases, test scripts, UAT documents) to support rapid deployment and scheduled releases in an online services environment
Use tools and scripts to perform black/grey-box and regression testing
Create automated regression tests using tools such as Selenium
Test projects to ensure cross-browser compatibility across both desktop and mobile browsers
Discover, report and validate defects until their resolution using our defect tracking system (JIRA)
Collaborate with developers, project coordinators, and project managers
Ensure clear and consistent communication is maintained between development, production and operations teams
Help manage, develop and improve processes and procedures within the department
Provide well thought out and constructive feedback on product usability.

Required Skills / Qualifications:
4-6 years of experience testing web and mobile applications.
Demonstrated leadership in creating processes for QA.
Experience creating automated tests, experience testing responsive websites across desktop, tablet and mobile, and experience using a variety of testing tools.
Automated testing tools such as Selenium a plus.
Excellent at manual testing
Excellent at issue tracking: clear steps to reproduce, accurate severity, correct assignment to front end vs back end developer
Experience with Continuous Integration is a plus
