Job Title: QA Engineer
Location: Los Altos, CA
Contract Duration: 2-3 months C2H
Interview Mode: Face to Face
QA engineer to own the testing of our software platform and services. This is a 3-month gig and may go perm which may lead to a long-term engagement. Candidate will work with an agile team to develop test plans and execute them.
Key duties and responsibilities
Review product requirements, develop test strategies and detailed test plans
Create and execute manual test cases to test UI and batch processes
Participate in agile processes
Communicate QA issues and status with engineering team, product, and program management
Signoff of all project/product releases
Qualifications
2-3 years of testing of web based applications
Solid understanding of testing methodologies
Experience in cross platform testing and automated load/stress and performance testing
Test automation experience, such as Selenium, a big plus
Familiarity with Unix
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS
Outstanding communication skills, with an emphasis on documenting requirements, and communicating schedule and updates internally
Knowledge of SQL databases
Analysis and problem solving skills
Bachelor''s degree or above preferred
Computer Science major preferred
