Position : QA Engineer
Location : Tampa, FL
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
The QA Analyst is responsible for:
Working in conjunction with the Business Analysis and Development teams to ensure that applications meet requirements and are of high quality Reviewing
Business Requirements, Functional Specifications, and Test Cases to understand the functional and technical requirements in order to test the application and verify those requirements are successfully met
Executing test scripts and documents defects for test scripts where the actual results do not successfully meet expected results
Designing test procedures, maintenance procedures and configurations
Creating detailed test cases and scripts, works with Business Analyst to determine requirements are captured correctly
Working with the development team to analyze and resolve defects
Interaction with our internal customers
Qualifications Internal
College degree, preferably in Information Systems or Computer Science
Knowledge of mainframe technologies (COBOL, CICS, DB2)
Minimum of seven years of relevant development life cycle experience in systems and applications management including systems/application design
3-5 years of QA experience, preferably in a financial services environment
Basic understanding of US Liqudity business & relevant technologies
Strong teamwork skills
