Role Description:
The person in this role will have extensive technical, people and
process skill sets that enable us to successfully deliver on this
initiative. The position requires a strong background in application
automation and functional testing. The person in this role will be
hands-on and will work with cross-functional teams.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
5+ years of experience in professional software testing in an
industrialized agile testing environment.
Responsible for the definition of automated and manual test cases for
one or more applications in accordance with the test strategy.
Creates automated test scripts and manual functional test cases that
contribute to user acceptance level testing.
Executes automated test scripts and manual test cases.
Reports and tracks defects in a timely fashion
Verifies issues/problems raised by test teams
Document Test results
Automation
Utilize automation tools efficiently
Employee best practices and standards
Serve as the liaison between participants within a project life cycle
to ensure an effective communication flow
Participates in Agile activities and Ceremonies
Responsible for iteration-level testing, including automation,
regression and security level, exit and entry level criteria from
department playbook
Proactively manage project timelines and incident resolutions.
