QA Engineer
Seeking a Software Test Engineer with strong testing experience/capabilities that embraces Lean/Agile and Extreme Programming practices. In this environment the Software Test Engineer is expected to work in a pair developing working, tested code across the full stack of technologies. They will determine gaps in integration testing, provide strategies to implement various layers of automated testing, provide support in the development of our environment, and provide guidance to build testing competencies among the engineers. They will collaborate directly and continuously with product managers and designers, and business partners to release early and often.
he successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree plus 2+ years of work experience in test automation, which includes:
· Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks, such as xFramium/Selenium and Junit
· Experience with continuous integration tools, such as Jenkins, Nexus, GitHub, Maven, Gradle etc.
· Knowledge of Agile testing methodologies
· In addition the candidate should have 2+ years of work experience in cloud based, full stack web development including:
· Java web development
· Spring Framework development
· Experience designing and developing REST APIs
· Front end development using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, Angular JS, React JS
· Data modeling Preference will be given to candidates with exceptional software engineering knowledge, who has practiced in eXtreme Programming (XP) disciplines including paired programming.
