Job duties included but are not limited to:
Apply proven analytical and problem-solving skills to validate, verify, communicate, and resolve application issues through feature/function regression/load
Create and expand automated regression tests for various systems
Conduct thorough analysis on both systems and overall structure
Work effectively with teams and business units to understand business processes
Plan, design, architect, and deploy effective test suites for in-house product development, software application development, information system launches, and operations systems enhancements
Follow Automation best practices and coding guidelines
Author and maintain effective tests (test cases/test scripts/conditions) using various methods of input
Participate in test script review sessions
Effectively run tests (test cases/test scripts/test conditions) prepared by self and others
Evaluate and test new or modified software programs according to user stories/requirements and established guidelines
Perform specific tests, such as examining aspects from an end-user’s perspective
Expand existing Automation framework to other applications or project areas
Demonstrate strong written communication skills including writing clear step by step user stories/defect/bug reports
Participate in SCRUM Meetings and provide valuable contributions to the team
Ability to perform data mining to obtain data for automation scripts
Work closely with Business Analysts to ensure requirements are clear and concise for the system under test
Qualifications:
Automation tool experience- QTP/UFT or other similar tools.
Scripting experience, end to end testing and conditional statements
Bachelor’s degree preferred, Business or Related Field such as Computer Science, or equivalent experience and training
Minimum 2 years’ Experience with Automated Testing and/or Development background with at least one year automation experience
Minimum Five Years Testing Experience (Manual and Automated)Excellent organization of work
Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
Basic insurance knowledge preferred
