The ideal candidate must have proven skills developing, maintaining, and debugging automated test scripts across a variety of environments and technologies. The candidate must be a Certified Scrum Master and ICAgile Certified Professional, with substantial experience in use of the Agile methodology.
The candidate must have superior analytical, troubleshooting, and presentation skills, well versed in meeting facilitation, structure, and dynamics.
The candidate must also have the following:
Continuous Testing in a Continuous Development and Continuous Integration environment.
Writing test scenarios in Gerkins
Use Selenium, preferably with Java. If not, the candidate must have written in one of the other popular programming languages, including C#, Groovy, Perl, PHP, Python, Ruby and Scala and be prepared to quickly learn Java.
Responsibilities/Key Tasks
Execute User Acceptance Testing, collaborating with the operations, business and all other testers to ensure coverage of all necessary types of testing.
Ensure proper QA policies and testing coverage is applied to assigned projects and task
Participate in the Agile software delivery process by writing, reviewing functional and design specifications, develop and review test cases in JAVA, JUnit, TestNG, SQL and Selenium, write user stories and tasks for sprints, coordinate efforts and communication with the developers and other team members to ensure resolution of defects, and manage/triage defects in the bug tracking system.
Consult with various cross-department team members to review and troubleshoot production issues.
Drive automation initiatives including white box scripting and functional automation projects
Assist in performance testing.
Ensure that product meets or exceeds the quality standards by applying knowledge of quality assurance standards and procedures
Engage with the Quality Assurance team to deploy successful quality processes throughout the software development lifecycle
Prepare detailed test reports
