Looking for GC or Citizen-FTE
Application Developer – Intermediate (4 Positions)
As an experienced Software Engineer, your mission is to certify the client data analytics tool and help our team in regression validation via automation/manual testing. Your deep knowledge of design, analytics, development, coding, testing and application programming will help your team raise their game, meeting your standards, as well as satisfying both business and functional requirements.
Qualifications :-
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
Ø Drive the Analytics QA activities across multiple projects by understanding the interfacing applications, test environments and tools/methodologies
Ø Knowledge on web services, UI automation and experience updating Gherkins
Ø Experience with TDD and code testability standards alongside functional/manual testing
Ø Experience with JIRA/Zephyr or HP’s Application Lifecycle Management
Ø Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
Ø Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages Java, JavaScript, Python, Ruby, Groovy, C++/C#, CSS, .Net, VBScript, SQL
Ø Hadoop: Use of Hive and/or Impala query engines
Ø Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement
Ø Experience creating test strategies, test case development, defect resolution and planning and coordinating test activities
Ø Exposure with development or test automation tools/frameworks (e.g. Cucumber/Gherkin, Selenium, SOAP-UI, HP ALM/QTP, JIRA, etc.
Ø Knowledge of Agile Application Development concepts
