Job Title: QA Automation Engineer
Duration: 6+ months Contract

High level requirements:
3-4 years of strong Java experience
2-4 years of strong experience in JUnit testing
Python experience and good exposure to regex pattern
Significant experience in Web Services (REST, JSON)
Ability to work with developers and write Unit/Integration test in Java
Oracle DB or Mongo DB experience is desired
Linux/Unix experience
Ability to make Splunk and SQL queries
Experience in Agile/DevOps methodology - Jenkins, GitHub, Docker
High level job description:
Performs inspections and sets quality assurance testing models for analysis new features and deployed features. Requires a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used QA concepts, best practices, and procedures. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines provided by QA Manager and Developers to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Basic responsibilities, includes -
Develop, maintain and execute automated tests in Java.
Test APIs, associated databases and XML file feeds.
Validate WebService and DataServices for Merlin
Create test plans and test cases.
Evaluate test results to determine adherence to requirements and conformance to established business processes.
Deploy and run Java applications (e.g., .ear, .jar, .war files) in an application server.
