Summary of Position:

The Quality Assurance(QA) Analyst will be part of the HCM Technical Delivery team to develop and execute manual and automated tests in order to ensure product quality. The QA Analyst will estimate, plan, coordinate testing activities and will also ensure that quality issues and defects are appropriately identified, documented, tracked, and resolved in our defect tracking system (JIRA/Zephyr The QA Analyst will work closely with the HCM business and technical teams to establish and implement quality assurance procedures and tools for existing and new HCM software projects, applications and products. The QA Analyst will be expected to participate in team building and to develop team and customer relationships. The QA Analyst reports to the Director of HCM Technical Services
Key Responsibilities:

Functional

* Review requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback for the creation of test scenarios.

* Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases

* Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities

* Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools

* Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs

* Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved

* Provides excellent service to internal and external customers. Keeps customers up-to-date on the progress of the service they are receiving and changes that may affect them.

* Prioritizes customer issues and addresses most pressing concerns

* Utilizes both formal and informal channels to facilitate the progress of work. Interprets and integrates multifaceted information from varied sources on a range of complex issues.

* Maintains continuous, open, consistent professional communication with customers, peers and management. Openly listens to others and checks understanding.

* Continues to acquire and apply new knowledge and learning

* Demonstrates proficiency in HCM practice technology. Understands business process and relates knowledge to product functionality.

Minimum Requirements - Education, Skill & Abilities:

* Bachelor''s Degree in Business, MIS, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience

* Minimum 3+ years working experience in software quality assurance

* Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes

* Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans, scenarios and test cases

* Proven project experience

* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

* Excellent communication and relationship building skills

* Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

* Strong time management and organizational skills

* Valid Driver''s License required

Preferred Requirements- Education, Skill & Abilities:

* Prefer 5+ years working experience in software quality assurance

* Experience in testing web applications

* Experience with automated testing tools

* Knowledge of SQL, scripting, HTML, CSS, JavaScript

* Experience in Cornerstone talent management software a plus.

* Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

Working Environment:

* Office Environment

* Minimal travel required for company meetings and events.
EDUCATION: BD; MD or equivalent experience. EXP LEVEL: 15+ years
